In today's world every ad and commercial one may see is a act of propaganda perceiving someone to buy or donate to a organization. A person in the ads or commercials can be a famous person or someone simply eating food one might want right now. Loaded words is to use someone's emotions to get the job done mostly used by politicians and public figures for example a president is persuading America to vote for him by saying he will make America a better place for all and anyone. Propaganda can happen anywhere even without someone knowing they will give in to it, a simply poster at school may get attention to come to a football game and when they get there they want food and drinks so they spend money. Everyone uses propaganda without realizing they are doing it, there is no way someone can help themselves.
Norman Rockwell was a very respected painter he was very unhappy with the racism that was going on so he pained a picture of Ruby Bridges. In the painting is illustrating how Ruby is standing tall and walking with her held high despite the angry and mean words written on the wall. Mr. Rockwell painted Ruby in all white to have her skin show brightly and have her stand as though she isn't afraid what is coming by going to a all white school. There is four marshals around showing that they are just the same as black people to. This has loaded words written all over it because its trying to get the people to accept that blacks are the same as whites trying to get people to treat everyone equal and get the politics to stop treating blacks unfairly it tags into peoples emotions.
The purpose of this commercial is to get customers to go and get their insurance at Allstate. Commercials are seen by billions of people so Allstate wanted people to see this and think if I don't get Allstate my car might end up like the guy in the video. They're are a few propaganda words being used in the video for example loaded word, and fear. The fear portion is because it's showing how one can get into a crash and have no insurance to fix his car but with Allstate they'll fix right away. In my opinion the commercial can be very persuading because no one really wants to get into a car crash and have no car after words and have to buy a brand new for more.
